Frank J. Myers, a Nashville-based songwriter, producer, and musician, hails from Dayton, Ohio. Relocating to Music City in 1981, Myers quickly established himself as a dynamic force in the country and pop music scenes. His early years saw him as band leader, road manager, and lead guitarist for Eddy Raven. This partnership spanned nearly a decade, as he co-produced and played on numerous sessions, contributing to hits like "I Got Mexico," "Bayou Boys," and "You Should’ve Been Gone By Now."

In 1982, Myers scored his first solo success with "You And I," a song he penned for Eddie Rabbitt and Crystal Gayle, which enjoyed a four-week run at number one on the country charts. His songwriting prowess truly soared through collaborations with Gary Baker, with whom he achieved a number one hit in 1993 with "Once Upon A Lifetime" by Alabama. Their partnership produced the acclaimed album Baker & Myers and earned multiple nominations for Duo of the Year at both the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and Country Music Association (CMA) Awards.

Myers’s songwriting reached extraordinary heights with "I Swear," recorded by John Michael Montgomery and later by All 4 One, transforming into a global hit that topped charts for 11 weeks. The song garnered numerous awards across genres, receiving honors from American Songwriter Magazine, CMA, Grammy, ACM, National Songwriters Association International, American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, and Billboard, among others, and was celebrated worldwide as the song of the year in multiple countries.

His work with Lonestar’s "I’m Already There" and "My Front Porch Looking In" further cemented his reputation, with "I’m Already There" earning a Grammy nomination and the latter making chart history. His catalog boasts more than 50 artists recording his songs, with 12 reaching number one and 20 landing in the top ten.

Beyond songwriting, Myers has produced and co-written for a diverse roster including Kenny Loggins, Andy Griggs, Richie McDonald, Robby Johnson, and many more. His production work on Richie McDonald’s projects earned him a Dove Award nomination in 2009, marking his first recognition in gospel/Christian music.

A member of Leadership Music’s class of 2005, Myers continues to write and produce, shaping the future of country and pop music with his signature style and storytelling. With a career spanning decades, Frank J. Myers remains a vital contributor to the musical landscape, celebrated for his hits, collaborations, and enduring creative spirit.
