Led by renown flat-picking guitarist, Brett Bass, Grandpa's Cough Medicine has long been a favorite on the local Bluegrass circuit and reformed in 2022 after a break of a few years.
Those who attend the best Bluegrass festivals couldn't be happier. Brett Bass is joined by excellent musicians Benny McDowell on banjo, and Rex Putnam on bass. Both have played with Brett in this band and others. Brett won first-prize at the 2015 Rocky Grass Flat-picking guitar contest and he leads this hard-driving Bluegrass band with his powerful guitar musicianship.
