Jenia

Jenia is a singer, pianist, and songwriter whose performances blend elegant piano, heartfelt vocals, and an uplifting sense of romance. Originally from Moscow, Russia, she began her musical training at the prestigious Gnesin Music School and started writing her own songs at just eight years old. 

Music became a personal language for her at an early age. Raised in a musical household, Jenia was inspired by both of her parents — her father, an enthusiastic pianist, guitarist, and accordion player, and her mother, a music editor for documentary films. Those early moments at the piano sparked a lifelong love of melody, storytelling, and creativity. After moving to Florida, Jenia continued to develop her musical craft by completing the Sound Engineering Program at ARTI School in Orlando, expanding her skills in recording and music production.

Whether performing solo at the piano or alongside partner Michael Houpt, Jenia creates an inviting, heartfelt atmosphere where audiences can relax, smile, and enjoy the moment. Her repertoire blends timeless classics like "My Funny Valentine" and "Moon River" with favorites by artists such as Norah Jones, Carole King, and Sarah McLachlan, creating relaxed, uplifting evenings of timeless music.

Above all, Jenia loves sharing music that brings people together. Her performances are filled with warmth, optimism, and a touch of old-world charm — creating evenings that leave audiences feeling inspired, uplifted, and a little more connected. Based in St. Augustine, Florida, and now performing throughout Northeast Florida, Jenia brings warmth, charm, and a joyful connection to every stage. She has appeared at venues across Jacksonville and St. Augustine, including Tradewinds, The Riverhouse, McKenzie’s Steak House, New Orleans Café, Enza’s, and now, at T. Smith Asian Bistro.
