Pop from another world, built to take you there.

Sarah Kinsley’s music exists between the cosmic and the human, the imagined and the remembered. Step into her world, and you may not want to leave. She doesn’t just write songs, she opens portals. Born in California, raised between Connecticut and Singapore, and now calling New York her home, the singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist crafts pop music that feels like stepping into an alternate reality. Classically trained on piano and violin, and fluent on guitar, synth, and resonating glass bowls, she shapes intricate worlds where symphonic sound dances with shimmering hooks.

Her debut album Escaper, is both a map and a compass, guiding listeners through landscapes of lush strings, brash pianos, and layered percussion, where moments of intimacy bloom into vast, cinematic vistas. Kinsley first enchanted audiences by revealing the alchemy of her process: turning the click of a light switch, the thump of a mattress, or the flick of a wine glass into musical magic.

With self-written, self-produced, and self-performed works, Kinsley was named one of Vevo’s Artists to Watch in 2024. Live, Kinsley’s music becomes communal, a place where strangers travel together through sound and imagination. She has since carried her dreamscapes across the U.S. and Europe, meeting sold-out crowds who sing every word in a shared, suspended moment.

Kinsley creates someplace both magical and deeply familiar. On Escaper, she joined forces with producer John Congleton, stretching her self-built worlds into even grander shapes. Songs like “Matter” and “Realms” blur the lines of pop with layered depths, while the string-laden “Starling” aches with melancholy.
