Apex Theatre: Come From Away at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

Ponte Vedra Concert Hall welcomes Apex Theatre Studio’s production of Come From Away for three performances on Friday, July 24, 2026, and Saturday, July 25, 2026. The Friday evening performance begins at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. On Saturday, performances take place at 2:00 p.m. with doors opening at 1:00 p.m., and again at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:00 p.m.

A powerful stage performance rooted in real events, Come From Away captures the extraordinary moment when a remote coastal community in Newfoundland found itself at the center of a global crisis. In the aftermath of an unforeseen disruption in international air travel, thousands of displaced passengers from around the world were unexpectedly welcomed into a small town.

What unfolds is a story of human connection under pressure, where language differences, cultural divides, and uncertainty are met not with hesitation, but with openness and resolve. The production blends humor and heartfelt moments to reveal how ordinary people responded to an extraordinary situation with generosity and grace.

Local Box Office: As of August 1, 2025, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box office is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week, and they sell tickets to performances at PVCH and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. You can also purchase tickets for shows at both venues at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre box office on Anastasia Island, 1340 A1A South in St. Augustine, Florida 32080. Parking Information: Free parking is available onsite on a first-come, first-served basis. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees are at the discretion of the event producer.
