Deuterman Productions presents Bearly Dead, a Grateful Dead tribute band, on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Colonial Oak Music Park.

This high-energy band performs music spanning the entire Grateful Dead catalogue and adds songs from other artists, performed with the Dead-jam sound. They add songs to their repertoire frequently and pepper their performances with improvisation and jams.

Founded in Boston, Bearly Dead developed a strong following, playing every Wednesday at the Church of Boston, for five years, beginning in 2015. They included other Massachusetts venues in 2020 and started touring nationally in 2022.

The band most often performs as a quintet. Like any jam band, members move in and out, and Bearly Dead has welcomed guest artists. Currently, the band most often presents as Michael Butler on vocals and percussion, Nick Swift on guitar and vocals, Kris Yunker on keyboard, Tyler Brooks on drums, and either Dave Becker or Owen Finley on bass.
