The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department hosts a guided scenic bike tour on Saturday, November 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning at the Cora Harrison Preserve in Hastings.

The guided tour includes the old, historic communities of Hastings and Armstrong. (Armstrong is now the St. Johns County Fairgrounds.) The tour goes past preserved historic sites and landmarks as well as farmland.

Learn about the region's history, from its agricultural roots to the cultural landmarks that shaped the area. This free tour is a fun and energetic way to learn about Northeast Florida and is open to anyone age five and older.

Bring your own bikes, safety gear, water, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing.
