The St. Augustine Amphitheatre welcomes The Black Keys on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Formed in 2001, The Black Keys have become a dominant force in garage rock, blues rock, punk blues, and indie rock. Known for smash hits like "Lonely Boy," "Howlin' for You," "Gold on the Ceiling," "Tighten Up," and "Little Black Submarines," the Akron, Ohio duo, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, have built a global following, amassing millions of listeners across streaming platforms.

In their early days, the band famously logged more than 300,000 miles in a Ford van, grinding from gig to gig before landing a deal with the indie label Alive in 2002. Their 2010 breakthrough single “Tighten Up” cracked the Billboard Hot 100 and spent 10 weeks at number one on the Alternative Songs chart. The momentum continued with the 2012 release of El Camino, featuring “Lonely Boy,” and high-profile performances at Madison Square Garden and Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Over the years, The Black Keys have headlined major amphitheaters and festivals worldwide, earned a Brit Award and an MTV Music Award, and won five Grammy Awards. Their extensive discography includes The Big Come Up, Thickfreakness, Rubber Factory, Magic Potion, Attack & Release, Brothers, Turn Blue, Delta Kream, Dropout Boogie, Ohio Players, No Rain, No Flowers, and their latest release, Peaches!
