Jail Break 5K 2023

Old Town Trolley Tours and Investing in Kids (INK!) will present the 7th Annual Jail Break 5K on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, beginning at 8:00 a.m.

At this Halloween event, runners "escape" from the authentic Old Jail and race across the Vilano Beach bridge to the Atlantic Ocean. Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome, and everyone is invited to dress up for the occasion. There's plenty to do for non-runners too with post-race festivities that include a costume contest sponsored by the Ghosts and Gravestones Tour.

INK! (Investing in Kids) provides innovative programs and classroom resources to promote academic success for all public school students in St. Johns County. The race's proceeds will support the teachers and students.

Packet pickup is on Friday, October 20, 2023, between 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Old Town Welcome Center, which is located at 1305 North Ponce de Leon Blvd. in St. Augustine, FL 32084.

Admission: The 5K is free for spectators. For runners, registration is $30 through July 31, 2023; the price increases to $35 from August 1 to September 30, 2023, and then to $40 from October 1 - 19, 2023.  The price for the Jailbreak 5K virtual ticket is $45. To register click here.
