The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Chuck Leavell on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
Active since 1966 and widely known for hits like “Evening Train,” “Forever Blue,” and “Losing Hand,” blues-rock and Southern rock legend Chuck Leavell is best recognized as the touring keyboardist for the Rolling Stones and a founding member of Sea Level. Originally from Alabama, Leavell began his musical journey with The Misfitz and went on to play with iconic groups such as The Allman Brothers Band and Betts, Hall, Leavell, and Trucks, as well as collaborate with artists including Eric Clapton, Train, Tinsley Ellis, John Mayer, and Miranda Lambert, among many others.
Leavell’s remarkable career has earned him a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and inductions into both the Alabama Music Hall of Fame and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. His discography includes albums such as A Homemade Christmas from Charlane Plantation, What’s in That Bag?, Forever Blue: Solo Piano, Southscape, Live in Germany: Green Leaves and Blue Notes Tour, Back to the Woods: A Tribute to the Pioneers of Blues Piano, and Chuck Gets Big.
This special event will also feature Leavell’s 14-minute documentary, The Tree Man, which offers an intimate look at his life and enduring passion for music. Proceeds will support conservation efforts in Florida.
