About The Act

Known for his psychedelic, country-rock–infused tracks like "Fire on the Mountain," "Angel from Montgomery," "Dance in the Desert," and "Life is Easy," Daniel Donato crafts a signature sound he calls Cosmic Country. Drawing deeply from America's time-honored traditions, his performances attract enthusiastic crowds and have earned him national attention.

Rolling Stone dubbed Donato "Nashville's Guitar Hero." He picked up the guitar at a young age, playing curbside to save money for his gear before eventually performing in local venues.

In 2019, he released his debut album, shaped by influences such as Willie Nelson, the Grateful Dead, Bill Wills, and others. Over his career, he has appeared with Billy Strings, Umphrey's McGee, and Widespread Panic. Donato's discography includes Starlight, A Young Man's Country, Cosmic Country & Western Songs, Reflector, and his most recent album, Horizons.
