  • The St. Johns County Parks Department offers kayak trips on Deep Creek on Friday, Feb. 11 through Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022. A County Naturalist will lead the tours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

    Participants can bring their own boat or use one of the county kayaks for these trips, which explore the history and diverse wildlife of the Deep Creek Conservation Area. For more information and to make a reservation, contact Kelly Ussia at (904) 209-0335 or visit here.

    Admission: $20 for St. Johns County residents with kayak; $30 for nonresidents. With use of county-owned kayak, registration is $40 for St. Johns County residents and $50 for nonresidents.

    When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11 through Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022.

    Where: The tour begins at the Deep Creek Soft Launch, located at 7975 S.R. 207 in Hastings, FL 32145.
