The Butterfield Garage Art Gallery is presents "Doorway of Dreams," an exhibit by Featured Artist Nikki Rakov. The exhibit opens on the First Friday Artwalk, September 5, 2025, with an opening reception from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The artist will give a talk at 6:00 p.m., where she will discuss her recent work. This special exhibit continues daily throughout September, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In this body of work, Rakov explores the threshold between the seen and unseen. Drawing inspiration from sacred landscapes, ancient stone circles, and personal visions, her paintings use luminous color and bold contrasts to evoke places where the natural world and spirit converge. Rooted in animism and the mystery of ancient sites, her work invites viewers to explore perception.
