The EMMA Concert Series presents Chicago Tap Theatre, sharing the creativity, history, and joy of tap dancing at Lewis Auditorium on April 25, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m. With singers and musicians providing accompaniment, these dance artists offer a fresh perspective on the art of tap dancing.

The Chicago Tap Theatre provides quality entertainment through the dancers' joy and expertise in tap dancing. For more than 20 years, the company has offered tap classes, developed new, modern dance numbers, educated youth and adults about tap, and created new interest in a dance style that has been performed for more than 200 years.

The tap company is known for their innovation, creating each performance around a theme that unifies the choreographed numbers that comprise the program.

Founded in 1979, by several music lovers, EMMA's mission is to provide "quality music and dance performances at modest ticket prices." This non-profit volunteer organization strives to present music and dance performances at an affordable price. In addition, EMMA provides funds, equipment, and instruments to various school programs in St. Johns County.
