During the 2023/24 school year, Flagler College President John Delaney will host a Presidential Speaker Series and welcome national leaders to the college for conversations about important events and ideas. On October 30, 2023, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., Elaine Chao, a former U.S. Secretary of Labor and a former U.S. Secretary of Transportation will speak to the community. She currently serves on the boards of several new economy technology companies.

Secretary Chao will discuss "Innovation & the Transportation System of the Future." As Secretary of Transportation, she promoted American innovation in autonomous vehicles, drones, and commercial space.
