Flagler Speaker Series: Meg Cabot

During the Flagler College school year, President John Delaney hosts a Presidential Speaker Series, inviting thought leaders to share their perspectives, insights, and inspirational stories. On Tuesday, November 17, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Lewis Auditorium, President Delaney welcomes Meg Cabot, author of The Princess Diaries.

A #1 New York Times bestselling author of books for both adult and youth markets, Cabot's most well-known work, The Princess Diaries series, includes 12 core novels, from which Disney produced several successful movies. The books are notable for depicting female empowerment in a humorous, frank manner. Several countries and U.S. school libraries (including in Florida) have banned Cabot's books.
