The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents The Fray on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Formed in Denver and active since 2002, The Fray is a renowned rock, alternative, and pop rock band best known for chart-topping hits like “How to Save a Life,” “Look After You,” “You Found Me,” and “Over My Head (Cable Car).” The band, Joe King, Dave Welsh, and Ben Wysocki, brings a distinctive blend of emotional songwriting and polished musicianship that continues resonating with fans worldwide.

With more than 16.1 million listeners across Spotify and other streaming platforms, The Fray is celebrated for its powerful ballads and compelling live performances. The release of How to Save a Life marked a breakthrough, earning widespread critical acclaim as its singles climbed the Billboard charts and became staples of early 2000s rock radio. 

Since then, the band has toured globally and garnered numerous accolades, including four Grammy nominations, a Planeta Award, two Teen Choice Award nominations, and an APRA Award. The Fray’s discography includes How to Save a Life, The Fray, Scars & Stories, Helios, and their most recent release, A Light That Waits.

Special guests Dashboard Confessional and Colony House also joins the lineup.

Local Box Office: If you're in town, you can purchase tickets for St. Augustine Amphitheatre shows at their box office on Anastasia Island. The box office is open daily, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, 1340 A1A South in St. Augustine, Florida 32080. As of August 1, 2025, the box office at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, at 1050 A1A North Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and sells tickets to performances at both venues. AXS is the ticketing partner for Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. You can purchase tickets online at AXS.com.

Parking Information

There is very limited on-site parking, and parking in the surrounding neighborhoods is prohibited. Concertgoers are advised to arrive at least one hour early to all events and concerts if they want to park on-site. Two free satellite parking areas are also available nearby: 

Shuttle Information

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre shuttle system begins its run 45 minutes before show time. The shuttle will pick up event patrons at four designated shuttle stops: the R.B. Hunt Elementary School Soccer Field, the west entrance of the Anastasia State Park Main Parking Lot, the Loop at the Anastasia State Park, and the entrance of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Shuttles will run continuously until approximately 45 minutes after the scheduled start time of a concert. If anyone wants to leave before the end of a show, shuttles will begin taking people back to the satellite parking areas one hour before the event is over. The driver will not depart from the Amphitheatre until the shuttle is more than 50% full.
