Cafe Eleven presents Jason Ricci & The Bad Kind in their listening room on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at  8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Known for "Leaning Blues," "Jason Solo," and "Mississippi Roaches," Jason Ricci is celebrated for his timeless work in the blues arena. Recognized for performances alongside artists such as Ana Popovic, The Mannish Boys, Walter Trout, and more, Ricci creates harmonica melodies harmonized with edgy vocals.

Hailing from Maine and drawing inspiration from musicians like Howard Levy and Pat Ramsey, Ricci developed the skill of crafting harmonic stability using a five-note-per-octave approach. Ricci's musical prowess and energy have been encapsulated in albums like Down at the Juke, Live at Checkers Tavern, Rocket Number 9, Down That Road, and Approved by Snakes.

Consisting of Andy Hendry on guitar, Stevie Hendry on bass, and Brad Rollo on vocals and guitar, The Bad Kind is a band that cultivates a distinctive sound by blending contemporary alternative rock with British rock. Their dynamic guitars, rhythm, and vocals converge to form their signature sound.
