A Musical: "The Great American Trailer Park"

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from August 21 through August 30, 2026, the Catalyst Theatre presents The Great American Trailer Park Musical. The performances begin at 7:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Armadillo Acres, an eccentric trailer park in Florida (where else?), sets the scene for a musical romp featuring Jeannie, an agoraphobic woman who stays glued to Dr. Phil. Her toll-collector husband, Norbert, feels neglected and soon falls for Pippi, a stripper on the run who just moved into the park. Pippi quickly creates friction between the married couple, sparking a hilarious and chaotic love triangle.

Betsy Kelso wrote the book and David Nehls composed the music and wrote the lyrics. This musical has been performed in nearly every state and in several countries. Its Off-Broadway run received exuberant reviews.

Admission: Tickets on opening night are $50.00 per person and include an opening-night party after the show. Tickets are $35.00 for all other shows. Purchase tickets in advance online.
