The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department is offering guided sunset kayak tours of the marshes of the Tolomato River. Led by county naturalists, the tours will depart from Nocatee Landing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, August 19, 20, and 21, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
These tours give participants a chance to explore the estuarine marsh, while learning all about the complex salt marsh habitat and the plants and animals that live there.
The cost of the tour is $30 per person ($20 for St. Johns County residents) for people bringing their own kayaks and $50 per person ($40 for SJC residents) for those who will be using a county kayak.
Reservations are required, and space is limited. Pre-register here. For more information, contact Kelly Ussia at (904) 209-0335 or email her here.
Admission: For non-St. Johns County residents, the price is $30 per person with personal kayak and $50 per person using a county kayak. St. Johns County residents save $10 off those prices.
