During the third weekend in August, the St. Augustine Film Society presents two films by Pedro Almodovar.

On Friday, August 19, at 7:00 p.m., they will present Parallel Mothers at the Waterworks on San Marco Ave. On Sunday August 21, also at 7:00 p.m., they will present Pain and Glory"at Temple Bet Yam, at 2055 Wildwood Drive.

Pedro Almodovar, an award-winning Spanish director and screenwriter, is a highly acclaimed international talent and a cult favorite. His film, Pain and Glory, focuses on the character Salvador Mallo, a film director who is physically declining, as he remembers his past.

Admission: Free to members of the St. Augustine Film Society. There is an $8.00 fee for non-members. There is a BOGO for non-members. Those who purchased a ticket for the Friday film at the Waterworks will have free entry to the Sunday presentation.
