Remedy Tree at Cafe Eleven

Known for "Adaline," "Beyond What I Can See," and "Say Darlin' Say," local band Remedy Tree is a distinctive Americana and bluegrass group that channels the true spirit of old-time Appalachia. Originally rooted in indie folk, the band’s sound evolved into a driving bluegrass style with the addition of a banjo player.

This shift helped shape Remedy Tree’s energetic blend of roots, Americana, bluegrass, and old-time music. Their sound continues to grow through original songwriting inspired by both contemporary and traditional artists, including Old Crow Medicine Show, Mandolin Orange, and The Avett Brothers.

Remedy Tree has shared stages with notable artists such as Ricky Skaggs, The Steeldrivers, Willi Carlisle, Rhonda Vincent, and Peter Rowan, performing at major festivals and intimate venues alike. The band was named an International Bluegrass Music Association Ramble Showcase Artist in 2023 and earned second place at the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America Band Competition in 2025.
