The 2025/26 Romanza's Collage Concert Series

Presenting Musicians Affiliated with UNF's Jazz Program

The Romanza Festivale presents Romanza's Collage Concert Series on select Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Augustine Waterworks. This season, Romanza is celebrating the wealth of talent found in the University of North Florida's (UNF) Jazz program. Each of the four Waterworks performances presents a different jazz ensemble affiliated with UNF.

Book your tickets and swing, tap your feet, and sway during the Romanza Collage concerts celebrating jazz and the jazz musicians who are professors, alumni, and friends of the University of North Florida's jazz studies program.

These ticketed concerts are fundraisers for the annual Romanza Festivale, which offers four weeks of arts performances, exhibitions, and author conversations every spring in St. Augustine.

In January: The North Florida Jazz Quartet

On Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 7:30 to 9:15 p.m., Romanza presents the River City Rhythm Kings.

Known for performing both classic and modern jazz, this North Florida jazz quartet serves as an ambassador of great jazz. Their sound is firmly rooted in classic jazz, with inspiring ensemble work and expressive improvisation. The group performs music from the 60s through new works, including some original pieces. These highly experienced musicians have deep roots in North Florida and can each be heard performing in other ensembles. Led by UNF's Dr. Marc Dickman, who performs on trombone and euphonium, the band includes Doug Matthews on piano, Claude Bass on bass, and Jack Miller on drums. 

Admission: $30.00 per person. Purchase tickets in advance.

Where: St. Augustine Waterworks, 184 San Marco Avenue, St. Augustine, Florida 32084 

Getting There: While the address is 184 San Marco Avenue, the only driveway on San Marco is Exit Only, so you can not enter the Waterworks driveway from there. Access to the Waterworks is through the St. Augustine Main Library parking lot, on the opposite side of the complex. (Use 1960 North Ponce de Leon in your GPS.)
