The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents progressive bluegrass artist Sam Bush on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Active since 1963 and celebrated for songs like “White Bird,” “Girl of North Country,” and “Circles Around Me,” Sam Bush built a career that bridges generations of acoustic music. With more than 74,000 listeners across Spotify and other streaming platforms, the Kentucky-born artist discovered his passion early by purchasing a mandolin in his youth and deepening his interest after attending the Bluegrass Festival in Roanoke, Virginia.

In 1971, Bush co-founded New Grass Revival, touring with the groundbreaking group until 1989. Alongside numerous collaborations, he has released solo albums since 1977, further shaping his distinctive sound. His honors include three Grammy Awards and 14 Grammy nominations, induction into both the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame (twice), as well as four awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association.

Bush's discography includes Together Again For The First Time, Late As Usual, Glamour & Grits, Howlin' at the Moon, Icecaps: Peaks of Telluride, Hold On, We're Strummin,' King of My World, Laps In Seven, Circles Around Me, Storyman, and his most recent album, Radio John.
