The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall welcomes the Sam Grisman Project on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. This is a 2026 Sing Out Loud featured event.

Known for tracks such as “Buckets of Rain,” “Rumble on Rose,” “Went to See the Gypsy,” and “Morning Dew,” the Sam Grisman Project captures the soul of American roots music. A highly sought-after bassist who has performed with Lee Ann Womack, Billy Strings, and other iconic artists, Sam Grisman honors the legacies of his father, David Grisman, and his friend Jerry Garcia while forging his own distinctive sound.

With the Sam Grisman Project, he continues to resonate with diverse audiences and embody the heart of contemporary music. Serving as an addition to the night and celebrating poetry, music, and the American tradition, the documentary Summer Tour, directed by Mischa Ricter, captures the vibrant Deadhead community and the final journey of Dead & Company, featuring former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Jay Lane with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chimenti.

Behind-the-scenes footage reveals life on the road, candid reflections on touring, and the magic of their performances on stage. The cast includes Grateful Dead members along with Annabelle Dunn and Jeremiah Pierce, inviting audiences to reflect on the people, places, and era that defined the band.
