The Amp St. Augustine presents acclaimed rock n' roll supergroup Sammy Hagar and The Circle in concert for two nights at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 1 and Wednesday, June 2.

Sammy Hagar is known as one of rock's most dynamic and prolific artists. His 40-year career has ranged from his early work with the seminal hard rock band Montrose to his multi-platinum solo years and to his ride as the frontman of Van Halen. His iconic songs include "I Can't Drive 55," "Right Now," and "Why Can't This Be Love." In his years with Van Halen, Hagar helped to lead the group to four consecutive No. 1 albums before the band broke up in the mid-90s.

Formed in 2014, Sammy Hagar & The Circle is a supergroup that includes Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Hagar and former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, as well as Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson.

Dubbed one of the most emphatic and exciting live acts on tour today, Sammy Hagar & The Circle rip through career-spanning hits in their concerts from Montrose, Van Halen, Samy Hagar and The Watoritas and Led Zeppelin.

Their debut album "Space Between" was released in 2019 and entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart at No. 4. The album hit No. 1 on four Billboard charts including Top Album Sales, Top Rock Albums, Hard Rock Albums and Independent Albums.
