Performing at the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival, the Tampa Blues Festival, and the Rawa Blues Festival in Poland, Selwyn Birchwood continues to globe-trot with guitar and vocals that shake fans to their core. Consisting of Courtney "Big Love" Girlie on drums, Donald "Huff" Wright on bass, Regi Oliver on the saxophone and flute, and Selwyn Birchwood armed with his voice and guitar, this band brings down the house with blues and a touch of rock.

The band received rave reviews from Rolling Stone, The Tampa Bay Times, and other publications. They are known for albums such as Don't Call No Ambulance, Pick Your Poison, and Living in a Burning House.
