On Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, the St. Augustine Film Society screens the award-winning documentary/drama, The Class (2008).

This work is directed by Laurent Cantet and is based on the story of François Bégaudeau, a secondary school teacher whose limits are tested as he struggles to discipline his class of 25. Set in a rough Parisian neighborhood, François and the administration must navigate a diverse student population. Each new year brings new faces, but the fight to inspire the youth remains.

Admission: $10.00 for the public. St. Augustine Film Society members are free.
