The St. Augustine Film Society presents the award-winning coming-of-age drama, The Grand Highway (1987), on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

Written and directed by Jean-Loup Hubert, this French story follows nine-year-old Louis, who is dropped off in rural Brittany so his mother can focus on her second baby. Louis befriends a young girl next door and is taken on a ride of childhood and "adult-like" experiences. Between this exposure of love, loss, and pain, the two children still retain their wonder of the world.

Admission: $10.00 for the public. St. Augustine Film Society members are free.

When: Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.
