The St. Augustine Film Society presents the family drama, Life, Above All (2010), on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

Adapted from Allan Stratton's novel Chanda's Secrets and directed by Oliver Schmitz, this South African story is set in the small town of Elandsdoorn. After 12-year-old Chanda loses her baby sister unexpectedly, the responsibility of the household falls on her shoulders. The community fueled rumors linking her sister's death and mother's illness, causing the family to face intense ostracism and fall into a stubborn silence.

Note: There are topics on AIDS/HIV, abandonment, poverty, and various social issues.

Admission: $10.00 for the public. St. Augustine Film Society members are free.

When: Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Where: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2487 A1A South, St. Augustine, Florida 32080
