The St. Augustine Film Society hosts a screening of the sports documentary, Maiden (2018), on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Limelight Theatre.

Directed by Alex Holmes and based on true events, this award-winning film tells the story of the first all-female yacht crew in 1989. Tracy Edwards, a 24-year-old with experience on charters, decides to lead a team of women in the Whitbread Round the World Race. Known as one of the most demanding yachting competitions, with a nine-month duration covering 53,000 kilometers, audiences experience the highs and lows of the team that inspired a generation.

Admission: $10.00 for the public. St. Augustine Film Society members are free.
