On Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Limelight Theatre, the St. Augustine Film Society presents a classic film noir and thriller, Scarlet Street (1945).

This scandalous story, written and directed by Fritz Lang, follows a down-on-his-luck guy, Chris. Stuck in a loveless marriage and working as a clerk, he possesses some artistic ability. After encountering the beautiful and smitten Kitty, he convinces her that he's a wealthy painter. Little does Chris know that he's being conned by Kitty and her fiancé, Johnny, who are using the money from his art sales to live a lavish lifestyle.

Admission: $10.00 for the public. St. Augustine Film Society members are free.

There is free parking behind the theater—enter from Old Mission Avenue and drive to the back to park in the lot on Bernard Street. Use the main entrance.
