The St. Augustine Film Society hosts a screening of the British drama, Testament of Youth (2014), on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Waterworks.
Based on a true story written by Vera Brittain and directed by James Kent, this war/romance story follows the lives of a young girl and boy who fall in love during World War I. Both their dreams of becoming scholars began to crumble as they try to make sense of their dark reality. This work depicts more of the emotional toll of the characters rather than the physical fighting on the front line.
Admission: $10.00 for the public. Students and St. Augustine Film Society members are free.
When: Friday, May 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Where: The St. Augustine Waterworks is at 184 San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine, Florida 32084.
