Palm Show and Sale at SJ Botanical Gardens

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the St. Johns Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve presents the first annual Central Florida Palm & Cycad Society Palm Show & Sale.

The St. Johns Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve is a lovely place to spend time, meandering along the trails among more than 2,400 plant species that include 400 species of palm trees. Year-round, their nature center offers classes, fun family programs, plants for sale, and the opportunity to see healthy plants and palms that are perfect for growing in Northeast Florida.

Knowledgeable plant vendors from around Florida including Steve Farnsworth from Farnsworth Farms, Clay Porch from Urban Oasis Palms, Jeff Searle from The Rainforest Collection, and Alex Stege from Tropic Shape Nursery showcase palms and cycads for purchase.

If you lost plants in this year's big freeze or want to learn more about a rare palm for your yard, this show and sale offers you a great opportunity.

The Botanical Gardens will be open, so you can walk along the trails to enjoy the plants, palms, trees, and wildlife on site. There will be a food truck, so you can grab lunch or a snack too.

Admission:

• Free for St. Johns Botanical Garden and Central Florida Palm and Cycad Society members.
• $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors, $8.00 for youth 8 to 17, and those seven and younger are free.
