About Tellabration

Tellabration is a worldwide event begun in Connecticut in 1988. Storyteller J.G. Pinkerton, a board member for the national and Connecticut storytelling organizations, wanted to create an event to introduce storytelling to a new audience. The first year, he organized six events in his home stage. In subsequent years, Tellabration grew to include storytelling organizations across the country and around the globe.
