Intro to Stand-Up Community Comedy

Third Space Improv hosts a six-week stand-up comedy class on Saturday, August 15 to Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

This introductory course enables you to dip your toes in the stand-up comedy waters while learning about yourself and finding humor in the world around you.

The step-by-step process helps you to:

• Overcome performance fear.
• Write material.
• Create a five-minute stand-up set.
• Find timing that delivers.
• Discover, and play with, stage personas.
• Laugh, have fun, and make new friends

At the end of the six weeks, you will deliver a five-minute set at a student showcase on the evening of Sunday, September 20 at Third Spave Improv.
