Talk Like a Pirate Day—For Kids

On Saturday, September 19, 2026, from noon to 5:00 p.m., the Pirate and Treasure Museum teams up with the St. Augustine Swashbucklers to offer a fun afternoon for pirates of any age.

Talk Like a Pirate Day for Kids

The event, in the courtyard outside of the Pirate and Treasure Museum, includes activities, games, book signing, raffles, and music. This free, family-friendly event celebrates Talk Like a Pirate Day. Pirate costumes are encouraged but not required. 

Events for Kids

12:00 to 5:00 p.m. - The afternoon includes games, photo ops, and book signings in the Pirate Museum's Courtyard.

• Vanessa Branch, who played Giselle in the first three movies in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, signs autographs.
• Robert Farrell, Disney Artist and a pirate at heart
• Pirate Musicians Bosun Cooper and Coquina

12:30 to 3:00 p.m. - Children's scavenger hunt on St. George Street

Admission: Free. There is an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to support Ayla's Acres.
