The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents New Orleans funk masters Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and Juvenile on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Trombone Shorty began leading his own band when he was just six years old. During his teenage years, he performed with numerous brass bands and even toured around the world with Lenny Kravitz. His talent led him to play at the White House for a Black History Month celebration, and he has appeared on national television.
NPR described him as “the brightest new star to come out of New Orleans in a generation.” At the same time, New York Magazine noted that he “draws from more than a century of musical styles, ragtime, jazz, gospel, soul, R&B, and hip-hop, and brings an energetic intensity to every performance.”
A member of the Hot Boys and Cash Money Millionaires, Juvenile is renowned for show-stopping hits like "Back That Azz Up" and "Slow Motion." Starting his career in the '90s, he succeeded with albums such as Solja Rags and 400 Degreez. These albums propelled him to the Billboard charts and earned him platinum certifications.
Collaborations with artists like Mannie Fresh, Soulja Slim, and Lil Wayne helped Juvenile become a household name and impact the rap industry.
Juvenile's discography includes Being Myself, Solja Rags, 400 Degreez, The G-Code, Project English, Juve the Great, Reality Check, Cocky & Confident, Beast Mode, Rejuvenation, and The Fundamentals.
