TropicCon '24 Book Expo

TropiCon Book Expo brings more 80 fiction authors to St. Augustine, providing the opportunity to meet them at several events. The weekend begins with an author's mingle on Thursday, February 22, at 7:00 p.m., and ends with a book signing event on Sunday, February 25, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Organized by U.S.A. best-selling author Lynessa Layne, TropiCon offers important seminars to writers and lets readers meet some of their favorite authors.

Award-winning and newly published authors of several genres will exhibit at book signings on Saturday and Sunday, February 24 and 25, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The genres include romance, fantasy, paranormal, romantic suspense, and other popular genres. The book signings are free, and no reservations are required. 

A VIP pass allows fans and new authors to attend several workshops on Friday. The $30.00 VIP all-access pass includes:

• Entry to the Thursday evening meet-and-greet, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Castillo Craft Bar and Kitchen.
• Entry to Friday workshops, author panels, and how-to-classes.
• A flamingo VIP tote with author and vendor swag.
• VIP early entry (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) to the book signing events on Saturday and Sunday.
• Book a VIP pass here. The VIP passes will be available only until February 22, 2024. (No food or beverages are included with this ticket.)

Admission: Free for book signings on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. 

When: VIP access starts at the meet and greet on Thursday, February 22, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Book signings are from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, and Sunday, February 25. There is no fee to attend the book signing events.

Note: There are several events in town that weekend. Plan to arrive early to secure parking in the city lots, city garage, or on the street.
