University of Florida's Historic Presentation Program presents a day discussing and examining St. Augustine's Gilded Age Landmarks and their restoration on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 9:45 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. People interested in restoration, history, and St. Augustine's unique properties will want to make time for this free tour and presentation.
After gathering at 9:45 at the Governor's House courtyard at 48 King Street, Geoffrey Steward, Managing Director of the International Fine Arts Conservation Studio, Inc. in Atlanta, will join his team in conducting a tour of Flagler College projects. At 2:00 p.m., in a presentation at the first-floor meeting room at the Governor's House, Mr. Steward discusses "Restoring Historic Interiors from the Gilded Age." Following a Q&A, there will be a tour of the UF Historic Preservation Program Conservation Lab.
Admission: This event is free and open to the public.

- 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - University of Florida's Preservation Program Conservation Lab tour.
