Words and Music Series: Chuck and Laura Rogers

Emma Concert Association presents another in their series of free events, "Words and Music at the Waterworks," on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The August concert features husband and wife duo, Laura and Chuck Rogers. Chuck is a guitarist, composer, and teacher and Laura is a flutist. Together, they play music from Bach to the Beatles, as well as some of Chuck's own compositions. During the August concert, Laura and Chuck will perform the following original works:

• Sawgrass, a duet for guitar and flute
• Mahalo, for solo guitar
• Songs of Praise, duet for guitar and flute
• Del Mar, for solo guitar
• Cathedral Falls, a duet for guitar and flute
• Puddleglum’s Jig, for solo guitar

Admission: Free

When: Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Where: The St. Augustine Waterworks, 184 San Marco Avenue, St. Augustine. While the address is 184 San Marco Avenue, the only driveway on San Marco is Exit Only. Access to the Waterworks is through the St. Augustine Main Library parking lot. (Use 1960 North Ponce de Leon in your GPS.)
