Two local authors in St. Augustine are partnering to host Writers for Warriors, a Veterans Day book-signing and fundraiser for K9s for Warriors. Free and open to the public, the event will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Ancient City Brewing.

JE Mooney and Andrew Stack are the local authors who will be signing their novels and works of nonfiction. For more information, email here or call (202) 329-3881.

K9s for Warriors is dedicated to providing service canines to our warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress disability, traumatic brain injury and other traumas as a result of military service post 9/11. Their goal is to empower them to return to civilian life with dignity and independence. The dogs being trained are also getting a new "leash" on life, as they are all rescue animals.

Admission: Free.
