In joint celebration of Bastille Day (July 14, 1789 in France) and Nueve de Julio (July 9, 1816 in Argentina), singer and guitarist ZaZa Flamenca and guitarist Gabriel Hermida present "Chansons et Tango," a concert comprised of popular French songs and Argentine tangos, on Sunday, July 13, 2025 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Modern chansons are lyric-driven French songs, such as the familiar "La Vie En Rose" by Edith Piaf. On July 14, the duo performs music by Jacques Brel, Charles Aznavour, Patricia Kass, and the iconic Edith Piaf as well as several fiery tango numbers, including songs by Astor Piazzolla and Carlos Gardel.
