Robbie Dammit

Robbie Dammit’s songs can be introspective and hopeful, with lyrics that transport you on a trip to his past, by way of his heart.

Robbie's songs reveal themselves to him. For example, when he wrote "Fifteen Years" he thought it was about a relationship, but it was really about another life transition, a mashup of life events. Robbie seems a bit astonished by his own songwriting, in that "I learn about what I write later down the road - sometimes - if I'm lucky, and sometimes it just don't make no sense at all."

Robbie Dammit's songs can be introspective and hopeful, with lyrics that transport you on a trip to  his past, by way of his heart. Of course, the obvious question is "Where did you get that name?" When he was growing up, he kept hearing, "Get off the roof Robbie, dammit" and "Get off the cabinet Robbie, dammit" so as a child he told his teacher that his name was Robbie Dammit, and yes, it involved a parent-teacher conversation.
