Shaelyn Band

Hailing from the vibrant Florida music scene, the Shaelyn Band is a dynamic collective that blends classic soul, blues, funk, and rock, to create a nostalgic and contemporary sound. Fronted by the electrifying Shaelyn (Shae Mulberry), a singer and poet whose powerful vocals resonate with strength and soulful charm, the band delivers a highly energized live show that captivates audiences.

Formed in 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida, the Shaelyn Band came together after drummer and music director Tim Mulberry crossed paths with lead guitarist Erik Guess. The lineup quickly solidified with the addition of bass player Curtis Harris and background vocalist Mark Barner, each bringing their own flair and musical expertise to the group. 

Their self-titled debut album, The Shaelyn Band, released in September 2022, showcases a rich tapestry of emotions through a diverse collection of songs. Tracks like “Good Time,” “Always You,” “Stay Home Love,” and “Just Can’t Leave” invite listeners to dance, reflect, and reclaim their joy, in love and life. The album highlights the band’s ability to connect with their audience, offering an array of experiences that truly resonate. 

In late 2023, the Shaelyn Band released their highly anticipated second album, Juke Joint! This collection takes listeners back to the heyday of juke joints, brimming with backwoods energy and authenticity. Songs such as "Fake Love," "Saturday," and "Blues Storm," exude southern grooves, driven by passionate growls and rich harmonies, inviting fans to lose themselves in the rhythms of the South.
