The Southern Social String Band is a new iteration of a band comprising players who have all been around long enough to have generated an extensive following. Led by Kevin Edwards on guitar and vocals, Chris Clark on bass, Michael Lagassee playing guitar and mandolin, and Ben Edwards on fiddle. Putting a new sound to old country classics, bluegrass, classic rock, and the blues, this group is a crowd pleaser, with covers and a few originals tossed in as well.
