Uncle Mosie delivers sweet harmonies, lively beats, and songs that tell stories.

Uncle Mosie is the nom de guerre (assumed name) of Andrew Cook, a fiddler and vocalist for several bands and ensembles in Florida, including his “namesake” band, Uncle Mosie. This band of six musicians from Gainesville have performed together as Uncle Mosie since 2017, and some of them played music together as early as 2010 under the name Nook and Cranny.

The Romanza Festivale presents the Voices of Jacksonville in concert on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m., at the Ancient City Baptist Church, at 27 Sevilla Street.

This adult professional ensemble is an offshoot of the Jacksonville Children's Chorus (JCC). Both groups strive to increase awareness and appreciation of choral music. 

Voices of Jacksonville is led by JCC's Artistic Director, Daren Dailey. The group seeks to provide highly professional performances at every concert. The members are all professional vocalists who have passed a rigorous audition.

The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum (CEAM) on the campus of Flagler College presents A Landscape Longed For: The Garden as Disturbance, an exhibit from Friday, March 1 to Saturday, April 20, 2024.

On Sunday, April 7 at 4:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, the St. Augustine Film Society is partnering with the St. Augustine Francophone Club to host a screening of Populaire (2012).

Written and directed by Régis Roinsard, this French love story follows an aspiring secretary named Rose, and an insurance man, Louis. Set in the 1950s, both characters develop feelings and a competitive spirit toward each other as they train for a speed-typing contest.
