It is with great sadness that we report that the Mike Johnson & The Little Big Band has retired their name, in honor of their long-time bassist Steve Switkin who passed away in late 2020. The band has reformed as Live Stream, and can be seen twice every week at The Trade Winds Tropical Lounge.

Combining alternative rock with traditional country, Craig also performs honky-tonk, commercial country, and outlaw country. He has long been in the music scene after a bull-riding accident pushed him in the direction of a full-time musical career.

He started writing his own songs a few years later. "All I cared about were the songs...As soon as I heard a song I liked, I took it apart, just like some dope kid who gets a new bike for his birthday and starts unbolting and unscrewing before he ever takes it for a ride."

He sometimes even writes on-the-spot instrumentals on stage seemingly out of thin air. Blending folk, Americana, traditional, folk rock, and bluegrass, Michael is constantly turning the musical page, challenging himself to push beyond the norm.
