St. Augustine's The Four Troubadours are an incomparable quartet, an elite collection of the founding fathers of the revival of the folk music scene. With over four decades of performance experience, the ensemble bands together to create a rare blend of the finest songwriters and divine originality. The band consists of Charley Simmons, Bob Patterson, Jim Carrick, and Larry Mangum. Each of these four minstrels have multiple awards in both songwriting and musicianship, making them the only quartet to have individual members that have achieved a combined total of over twenty accolades.

Larry Mangum

Larry Mangum, one of the last remaining troubadours from St. Augustine’s classic folk era, is a musical mountain who combines old-time country and bluegrass with modern-day folk and Americana.

St. Augustine's Larry Mangum is a troubadour if there ever was one. A vital component of the revival of the folk music scene, Larry was born with music in his blood. His mother was the guitar instructor for the phenomenal and highly successful Randy Travis, while his grandfather was fiddle player Brenton Drye, and his uncle Homer Briarhopper, famed 1930s radio personality. Larry also knew, loved, and learned from local legends of folk music Will McLean and Gamble Rogers prior to their passing.

Mr. Aullie (AKA Donald Blitch) is a multi-award-winning songwriter whose blend of blues, Americana, and backwoods folk never fails to amaze audience members or his musical peers. Born and raised in Gainesville, this blues guitar guru is a Florida native who has been professionally active in music since the mid-1970s. Mr. Aullie is also a multi-instrumentalist, playing acoustic guitar, electric guitar, cigar box guitar, and harmonica.

Beck and Somers is a local duo from St. Augustine that plays at several favorite spots in town. Rob Somers is a recording artist who has co-written and released four CDs, including the song, "Forever," that has played on satellite radio for years. Over the years he has played in bands that opened for Eddie Rabbit, Bobby Goldsboro, and Jett Williams at the Silver Springs Music Park.

Adam Latiff is a singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist from Jacksonville, Florida. He is a left-handed guitarist with versatility in all genres. He has over five years of experience touring nationally and internationally, as well as over 15 years of professional stage experience. Adam was previously in a band called Puddle of Mudd as a guitarist and back-up vocalist, and is currently the front man for a Nirvana tribute band called Heart Shaped Box.
