The Renovations
When you first visit the newly renovated Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, you'll immediately notice the modern, stately building anchored by a tower on the north side. If you've attended concerts at the concert hall in the past, the second thing you'll notice is the renovated and greatly improved parking lot. You'll enter the building to a larger and more accessible lobby with modern decor and a vaulted ceiling. Make sure you arrive early to have time to walk through the building and enjoy the amenities before sitting in one of the new, wider seats. There are also wider aisles, making it easier to go to and from your seat without disturbing others.
New features include two terraces (one up and one down), four permanent bars (two up and two down), and renovated restrooms with a dedicated family room. There is a merchandise area, elevated food and beverage options, and a dedicated quiet zone. A new box office at the site is open seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The original building had 10,500 square feet, and this one nearly doubles it at 25,500 square feet. Now the building holds 615 people seated and 1100 standing—a capacity increase of 20%. In addition to seats on the floor,
The firm of Fisher Koppenhaffer designed the renovations and additions.
